Some of my earliest memories in life, when we were in our early teens, were borrowing Nining's red top so I could look like her. In the years that have followed, not much has changed. Nining is my best friend and role model, there are very few days when I haven't thought about her and her wonderful gentle soul.

Mbak Tut, my elder sister, best friend and roommate. People thought that we were twins; we did things together almost ALL THE TIME - walking to school, playing with a group of friends, and even as teenagers we often went to the cinema with our boyfriends, together!

Known him for forty years, the days of the full shock of black hair - Donny Osmond dead ringer! Shared many highs and some lows - World Cup & Euro championship tours as far back as Italia '90 in the Stadio Olimpico. And then there's United! A more generous-hearted guy than Tony you will not meet. Always there for you no matter what! It's my privilege to count him as both a family member and close friend.

"Besties" since early childhood & joint family summers together in Elba, Italy. Brothers in Arms - a youth mostly spent eschewing work and study in favour of running, squash, cycling, windsurfing and diving etc. Guaranteed to bring the worst out in one another. Apart - angels. Together - chaos and carnage! How did we navigate to respectable adulthood? A great guy, as close as a brother.
